First Field Trip

We took Gus to the pediatrician's office today. While he was not at all thrilled about being poked, prodded and undressed, we did get a clean bill of health. For that, we are extremely thankful. Now, the only remaining appointment as a result of his initial infection is to go to the audiologist's office. Apparently, some children that are administered that particular kind of antibiotic at such an early age may lose some or all of their hearing. We're not worried though, because he seems to react to the noises around him. We'll go, however, just to make sure.

Now, if we could just keep him from sticking his fingers in his eyes...

Thanks, again, for all of your prayers.

We are really glad to hear he got a clean bill of health! When we had Troy in the hospital they did some sort of hearing check before we left the hospital that took just a few seconds and didn't appear to be painful, so hopefully it will be something along those lines for Gus today!

He's a cute little guy. You guys did a great job!

I'm glad he's ok. I hope the other appointment goes well today too.
Troy's gained 7 oz in 9 days. I can't believe how fast he's growing!! :p I still think Gus takes more after Scott... :) Hope you can get some sleep!! :)

Hi Amy & Scott,
Heather & Steve told me about your little Gus and how you were in the NICU. We are glad your stay there is over - I know it can be very scary. I'm glad to hear that Gus is doing so well now! He's absolutely adorable.
