Several weeks ago, I made homemade spaghetti sauce using a friend's recipe. I thought it might be fun to document how long it took me to finish this one task with 2 kids involved. So here you go:
1. Blanch and peel tomatoes.
2. Chop all vegetables and saute.
3. Cook and then puree.
3.
4. Congratulate self on job well done....then start to clean up the mess!
Total time: roughly 3 hours and 15 min.
Result: EXCELLENT sauce to put in the freezer (thanks for the recipe, Reardons!) and a feeling of accomplishment:)

You will remember this 3 hour experience and the great taste of the sauce for many years to come...and eventually you will realize some of the amazing lessons in it! Glad you are so willing to go the distance!! Keep up the great work!!
